Who the hell am I?

No, this is not a blog about my personal identity crisis. Sorry, drama seekers.

Critical Point, is not just a blog, but three separate blogs (as of now), the name of an animated series that I’ve been trying to get off the ground, a moment in time, a way of being, an opinion and sometimes a fact, as well as all of the other things that I’m sure you all can think up.

The thing about this blog that makes it different from most others is that I’m not just writing from my point of view only, but writing for the collective whole. Yes, there will be things many of you will agree or disagree with, but the topics will be realistic. Things that most, if not all of us have experienced and therefore we will all relate no matter the opinion. Besides, varied opinions make things more interesting!

Getting back to the title of this post, this will be one of a few, if not the only post that has to do specifically about me. Too give you a short background of moi, if you didn’t feel like reading my bio, I am a pro voice actor, part-time librarian, wannabe writer and some guy you’ve probably never heard of from Pennsylvania. Now, I’ll give you a second to bask in my interestingness…………… Alright that’s enough of that. (Yes I do know that “interestingness” is not a word.)

So, for my first post, I figured I can give a taste of what’s to come for the category, “Our Satirical Lives”. As a note to you all, You may be offended or find it humorous, agree or disagree with what’s written, find me to be egotistical, smart-assed, rude or whatever other character flaw you want to label me. Just know this: It’s written with you in mind. All of you. I want to hear what you think, your thoughts, reactions, and everything else.

Are you considered cynical if the first sign of spring that you notice is that a bird shit on your windshield? That happened to me this morning. Spring is the best time of year… not too cold, not too hot. “Love is in the air” (even though Valentine’s Day is in February), and the new cycle of life begins. I sound like a freakin’ fantasia animation.

Woops! See, cynicism! I must be getting bitter. Maybe it has something to do with dealing with people on a daily basis. And not just at work, although that’s probably not the most conducive friend-making environment no matter what the management says. I mean dealing with people you randomly drive by, or see walking in the mall or where ever you decide to waste your life. Really, did you ever notice the only smart person in the world is yourself? (The same goes with driving. It’s always my right of way, dammit!)

Everywhere you look is someone conforming to their stereotype or KNOWING that they are right, so they don’t listen to directions which later turns into a frivolous lawsuit.

This begs the question, should we have faith in humanity? I’ll leave that one for you all.
